Large and stable healthcare system in eastern NC is recruiting a BC EP cardiologist with a primary focus on arrhythmia management and experience in atrial fibrillation ablation. Candidates should be EP fellowship trained, board certified, and have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Position is open due to expansion of the cardiology service line of highly respectable and established cardiology practice employing 11 physicians with support from 8 NP/Pas. Both OP and IP responsibilities and hospital privileges at one of the top cardiac facilities in the country with 24 exam rooms. Health system has total of 1500 beds serving more than 1.4 million people in 2 counties with total of 8 hospitals in eastern NC. Heart institute is NC’s preferred facility for cardiovascular services and offers 6 stories and 375,000 square feet that offers clinical space, diagnostic services and cardiovascular operating rooms with a hybrid operating room as well and 120 beds for heart patients.
