Comprehensive Stroke Center Medical Director, Charlotte, NC/ No Visa Support for this Position

Leading Healthcare System in Western NC is seeking a board certified/eligible, vascular-trained neurologist to serve as full-time neurohospitalist leading five full time inpatient neurohospitalists as the Comprehensive Stroke Center medical director. The successful applicant should have three to five years of medical directorship experience. The dual patient care and leadership position is an exciting opportunity to work at a 622-bed tertiary medical center which houses the only Joint Commission-certified comprehensive stroke center in the Charlotte region. There is an 11-bed dedicated neuro ICU with four fulltime dedicated neurointensivists offering 24/7 inpatient coverage. Additionally there are three neuroendovascular neurosurgeons and two interventional neuroradiologists offering 24/7 interventional capability.
